A patch of elegance.

Show Stall.

Looking back at this picture i realise the many things i'd change. But i suppose that doesn't matter, it's a little late now i believe. Still i'll know for next time. If there is a next time, which there hopefully will be. Near christmas time i think. Hopefully people will then be more willing to spend. They'd better.

Moving onwards, i have a little sketch to show you. I'm sort of really enjoying stripes, tweed and fabric directions at the moment. I'm not sure why but i really like it. I suppose it's the detail and care that would go into making it. Both into the tweed and stripes. Specifically Harris tweed. It's very special, original and really quite sweet. Also, i may just help sustain that industry that way. Lucky them.

Outfit of Elegance.
This outfit is also rather elegant i find. Now to explain. The silk skirt is made with the cross-grain going diagonally downwards, thus hugging the body. The top is to be made of strips of tweed, woven into a striped pattern. Then sewn together in different directions. if you look closely you can see. Also if you have good eye sight, which i don't. I think i might need my eyes tested again. I have this bad type of nightmare that i'll end up with inch thick glasses. I really hope not.
