Dear readers, may I please apologise for my lack of blogging (again). I think it may actually have been almost an entire year. I am so terrible. Sorry. But, I have decided to start up again (i'm serious this time) for several reasons; (a) I have remembered I actually HAVE a blog, (b) it's really enjoyable and (c) i've got new glasses (pictures to follow). I've also decided to take Advanced Higher English next year (that's basically 1st year of uni level). How silly am I? I'd never considered EVER taking AH in English but apparently the course is "fun and enjoyable" and I, stupidly, decided to pursue it. What, i've realised, they didn't mention is "stress-free".
However, let's go on with my new glasses. Basically my old glasses were nine year old glasses and i'd had them for almost five years so I was desperately due a new pair, which I now have. And, if I may say so myself, they are BEAUtiful. And also (because i'm nice) i've decided to let you see. Oooh exciting eh'.

I absolutely adore them! And you can actually, for the first time in years, see my eyes!
Since my grandparents contributed money towards these I decided to draw them a card and thought (hoped) you might be interested (nosey) to see it, so here it is (oh, i'm spoiling you today aren't I? Don't get too used to it!). As you will see it is pretty much a self portrait because it's my interpretation of myself yesterday.
